A custom alphabet designed by Milton Glaser and used for his cover design for Einstein On The Beach in 1979. There are at least two weights. The design is apparently derived from Futura, with angled bars (‘AEFHQ’), curling bowls (‘BPR&3’), and a higher waistline (‘KMRXY’ etc.). Some glyphs are unchanged. Alternates for ‘M’ and ‘5’. It’s not clear if this alphabet was made into a proper typeface. It might exist as private photostats only. Unreleased.
