Started at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino as a didactic project in the type design course of the Master of Visual Design Campi Visivi. “The aim of the project is the creation of a collective fonts released under OFL. Each academic year, a dozen students work on the project, developing it further and solving problems.” Design and curation by Luciano Perondi. Coordination by Marcello Signorile. Design of the first prototype by Diego Giusti.
A first version was released in 2009. Extended to three subfamilies (Text, Maps, Title), in several styles. In 2012, a version named Titillium Web was released in 6 roman and 5 italic styles.
