Designed by Albert Knab for Schelter & Giesecke in 1901. Larger sizes also made in wood. Accompanied by a set of initials and ornaments (Zierrat). A schmal fett (bold condensed) followed in 1904. [Reichardt] This bolder style later got a name on its own: It is shown in Seemann as Othello, with a 1903 date and credited as an in-house design.
