Designed by August Glaser. Winner of Woellmer’s first competition and selected from 354 entries. [1902 ad] First cast in 1902. A wider version for smaller sizes (Breite Siegfried) followed in 1904. [AfB] Società Augusta offered it as Nordica. [Reichardt 2011]

Adopted for phototypesetting by PLINC (before 1965) and Lettergraphics (before 1968, as Seig and later Seigfried). Listed in Fürst’s 1969 catalog as Killroy.

Digitized by Dieter Steffmann and offered as Epoque (with Inline and Shadow variants, 1999) as well as under the original name (2002, used for sample).
