Modula (VGC)

Modula was released in 1972 by VGC in 4 weights. [VGC 1973] It was designed by Franz Heigemeir. [Reichardt/Hoefer] Copied by Castcraft as Ogden (all 4 weights). [Castcraft 1978]

Several early digital foundries did incomplete and largely pretty sloppy revivals of Modula: Castcraft (as OPTI Ogden, 1990–1991, Bold only), Casady & Greene / Software Complement (as Kasse FLF, 1992, Regular, Bold, Extrabold), NovelFonts (as Obbsidda, 1994, Bold only), and Keystrokes (as Modularity, Extrabold only).
