A system font included in Apple Mac OS X. It was designed by Pat Snyder (© 1992, 1993, 2001) and comes in two styles, Thin and Wide. Latter is slightly wider and heavier, but also apart from that, the weights differ in most details. While Apple has ironed out several of Marker Felt’s idiosyncrasies (like the signpainter-style superscript dollar sign) over the years, the current version (v9.0) still exhibits a peculiar design flaw: all accented uppercase characters are scaled down to match cap height, without compensation of stroke widths.
