Zelek

Released in 1972 [MN Graphic Products, 1973] in several variations (Zelek Black, Zelek Shadline, Zelek Bold, Zelek Boldline). Shown in Dan X. Solo’s Moderne Alphabets as Zelda.

Simon Griffin’s revival of Zelek Black for Wired UK (2009) was based on a clone “found in an old Typaedia catalogue […] named ‘Zoro’”. [Typophile] Dick Pape provided freebie digitiziations of all original styles (Zelek and Moderne Zelda, 2010) and added Zelek Bold Reflection, which is similar to Glowworm. Bron/Bron Shadline (2014) by Jeremia Adatte is a revival with layers for a chromatic effect.
