misspelled as H. Machler) and released by Klingspor in 1931 as
Salut.
Adopted by Photo-Lettering under the original name. [PLINC
One-Liner] Fürst carried a copy named Macro Black.

Salut is digitally available from Monotype (used
for the sample). Some pecularities of the metal original like the
blackletter-like ‘w’ or ‘x’ have been preserved, others like the
slashed ‘7’ were smoothed out. Long ‘s’ and ligatures for ‘ch’/‘ck’
were not included, ‘ß’ is inauthentic. Not all letters join up
nicely.

Unicorn is a freebie revival that, despite its name, stays closer to the original Salut, but leaves a lot to be desired. Agua is a poorly made and uncalled-for decorated variation.
