Monotype had four faces in the Scotch Roman category: Series 36 (1903, based on A. D. Farmer’s), Series 43, Series 46 (1906), and Series 137 (1920).
Monotype’s digital Scotch Roman (also issued by Adobe as Monotype Scotch) is based on Series 46, a “clumsy adaptation”. Series 137 is a more faithful recutting of earlier Scotches, like Miller & Richard’s Old Roman. [Mosley]
