A family of 7 weights plus italics, primarily intended for use inside Google’s Docs and Slides. Designed by Jean-Baptiste Levée (Production Type) and made available in June 2017 under the SIL Open Font License v1.1. In December 2017, Ilya Ruderman and Yury Ostromentsky (CSTM Fonts) added Cyrillics. Spectral is included as one of the default template typefaces in the parametric font generator Prototypo.
