upright West
Behemoth. It was issued around 1967 and shown in 1971 as
West Behemoth Clarendon Italic Swash [PLINC One Liner 1971]. Distinguished from
the earlier
West Behemoth Clarendon Italic 11 by swash forms for
caps and several lc letters including ‘dghklnrtvy’. It also has no
entry strokes and less pronounced exit strokes on ‘ahilm’ etc.
Stymie Black Italic is a film typeface of
unclear origin that closely resembles Behemoth Clarendon
Italic Swash, but is different in many details.
