Signage system for a public library in the the Montbau neighbourhood of Barcelona.
This small community library, housed in former school buildings, was extensively renovated and extended. A new signage and shelf labelling system was required to orientate the users in the new space and to reflect its new architectural style. A clean typography was chosen to be combined with wood. The wood itself is formed of three different layers. This gives the sense of volume as well as a warm and cosy feeling in keeping with the ambience of the building.
