For good measure, I have expanded the post with an image of the East German version, designed by Gerd Semder and printed by VEB Gotha-Druck (“Verpackung nach TGL 10609”). I’m pretty sure the two-colored geometric letterforms are derived from a typeface, too, but I can’t put my finger on it right now. They also appear on the LP cover. Something between Optex, Dubbeldik and Joc Line …
You Could Have Told Me looks like Helvetica Black, I suggest.
Agreed, thanks. The remaining unidentified typeface is the bi-line face for “The Rubettes” in the second image. It can always be custom drawn, of course.
