Sticky Fingers is the ninth British / eleventh American studio album by The Rolling Stones, released in April 1971. With the hits “Brown Sugar” and “Wild Horses”, the album is considered one of the Stones’ best albums. It achieved triple platinum certification in the US.

The cover of the original vinyl release, designed by Andy Warhol, features a working zipper and perforations around the belt buckle that open to reveal a sub-cover image of cotton underwear. More on the crotch model mystery here.

In Spain, the original cover was censored by the Franco regime and replaced with an image of fingers coming out of a syrup can, designed by John Pasche (who also designed the tongue-and-mouth Rolling Stones logo) and photographed by Phil Jude.
