Fictional project. An experiment in translating a non-visual, sensory experience into a typographic-based response. Based on a live performance of Fat Chance by the band Mothers. The poster promotes a hypothetical album release in its utilization of acutely-chosen colors, type pairings, and distribution of negative space to emulate the identifying characteristics of the performance. The piece uses the Dada-inspired concept of ‘orderly disorder’ to exert a strong and confident energy.
