Elements x Andrea Dopico Cafarelli
Elements is a recipe book by chef patissier Andrea Dopico Cafarelli. It was art directed and designed by Maria Karam. She used the typefaces Battling (Matthieu Cortat) and Clifton (Yoann Minet), both available from 205.tf. The type palette was completed with Commercial Type's Graphik.
Elements is the result of curiosity, of stimulation, of two intertwined disciplines. Design and cooking fuse together in order to express a sole object that will enhance the communication of technical pastry knowledge while it incites the creativity of the reader. This self-published book, by the pastry chef Andrea Dopico Cafarelli, contains sixty-four foolproof recipes and the creative elements for the preparation of plated desserts.
