Ana is the first (in fact, second) edited volume of a new collection of books edited by Ricardo Nicolau. This one is dedicated to Ana Jotta, an artist and friend with whom Nicolau has worked over the years.
Nicolau organised all the text and also decided to highlight some of the text by using bigger sizes. It was important for the object to have a big format (320×240 mm), and to conceptualise how the format and the content could be part of the editorial design itself. Each book has an inside cover featuring a photograph of an object Nicolau relates to the person the book is about. Published in a limited numbered edition of 100 copies.
