36 mountains is a festival dedicated to illustration, held every year in Zagreb, Croatia. Each year the festivals designer Jan Pavlović reinvents the identity, but keeps the typeface Halte as the only constant element of the design. This year’s visuals feature the typeface in an almost unrecognizable form. They play upon the theme of cartography using isohypses and a very playful color palette.
