Every two years, the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, entrusts a photographer with carrying out a photographic survey. The theme or subject of the survey must be related to the canton of Fribourg. In 2012, the chosen artist was Matthieu Gafsou.

At its origin, Dominicale Alpha was designed specifically for Gafsou’s Sacré. As a graphic designer I [Raphaël Verona] decided to set all the texts in a Bembo-inspired typeface with details informed by contemporary crafts that could be well-suited for both headline and text.

Edited by Thierry Häusermann. Trilingual edition (English/French/German). 96 pages with 44 photographs. Softcover (with simili leather cover), 240×80×8 mm. Published by IDPURE éditions.
