ITC Korinna Extra Bold in all caps on the cover of a record by the Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Herbert von Karajan. Started before 1971 at Photo-Lettering and later expanded for ITC, this typeface is Ed Benguiat’s and Victor Caruso’s revival of Korinna (H. Berthold AG, 1904).
The star of this cover is the illustration of letterforms made from dancers by Dick Ellescas.
