Anton Reiser by Karl Philipp Moritz (Editora Carambaia)
Anton Reiser is an 18th century novel by German author Karl Philipp Moritz. We were honored to design the first Brazilian edition, published in early 2019 by Editora Carambaia.
The typeface chosen for the cover and headlines in the interior is Prophet, designed in 2016 by the Swiss type foundry Dinamo which, despite being a sans serif type, has a handwritten influence, irregularities and oddities that relate to the novel. The text was composed with Noe Text, a serif font designed in 2013 by the German/Finnish type foundry Schick Toikka.
