    Whirlybats is a dingbat font with a twist – instead of using variable font technology to squish and squash type, Whirlybats uses it to animate its 200+ glyphs. To celebrate its launch, fashion accessory studio Recital decided to create limited edition Whirlybat earrings.

    The packaging prominently features Whirly Birdie Narrow and Grinnell – the display font used for Recital’s logo. Small details make use of a lighter version of Whirly Birdie Narrow.
