Data 70, Letraset’s addition to the (then) futuristic MICR style, in use for Zeit (“Time”). The title is shown in a hand-drawn rendition, in outline and with an extended t bar. Both the cover typography as well as the credits and track list on the gatefold (in Helvetica) use lowercase characters only.
The third studio album by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream was released in 1972 on Ohr Musik. Sleeve design and cover painting by band member Edgar Froese, with photography by Monique.
