Halyard Display is the typeface chosen for the Yang for New York campaign identity.
Andrew Yang relied on Halyard already in 2019 when he ran in the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries. Now he’s running in the 2021 New York City mayoral election, with a logo that swaps the Bold Italic for the upright Bold – a style that might be perceived as more sedentary. It’s noteworthy to see politicians starting to build a personal brand, rather than having a new brand and a new font for each campaign. On the website, Halyard Display is supported by Halyard Text.
