.MFF Jashan was used fairly imaginatively in a film called Laatu. The Punjabi period drama is about the electricity industry in India – bijali laatu means “electric light bulb”. This is often shortened to laatu, although laatu on its own, means “top” (as in a child’s toy – spinning top). In the trailer, the movie logo itself is shown as the glowing filament inside a bursting light bulb.
Jashan is Punjabi for “party” or “celebration” and MFF Jashan is the Punjabi take on a party font. The font is also used on the movie posters, here without added effects.
The Latin version of the logo uses Elsie with swash caps.
