The compressed modern is Olympic, issued by Deberny & Peignot in 1937 as a caps-only revival of a mid-19th-century fat face. It’s also known under the name Slimblack, and was adopted for phototypesetting by VGC around 1973. On the front cover, it’s used for the band name, set in big white dancing letters. The back cover has two of its numerals, which are more embellished than those of similar faces like Onyx.
Titles and credits use two contrasting weights from the Helvetica family. The Masters logo is based on Balmoral (Letraset, 1978), with a custom swash extension.
