Happy + Hale is a fast-casual restaurant concept fueling happiness across the Carolinas with smoothies, bowls, and all-day breakfast. Happy + Hale believes healthfulness is the key to happiness and while that starts with the things we put in our bodies, it also means loving ourselves, empowering our communities, and partnering with the planet to ensure we all have access and support to live fulfilled lives. That passion for supporting others, and building a community had to be present in the rebrand, but it also needed to be clean, functional, and scalable as the company looks to grow across the southeast.

The workhorse typeface of the brand is Fellix by Displaay Type Foundry. Clean, bold, and utilitarian, it is used across all brand touchpoints, including the basis for the wordmark itself. It is stylized in all-caps, outlines, and underlines. It is paired with the warm, welcoming, soft-serifs of Roca by Elena Genova of My Creative Land. The two are used on their own as headlines and copy, as well as paired in stylized headlines and call-to-actions.
