Il Ticino e i suoi fotografi / Das Tessin und seine Photographen exhibition poster

Bidirectional and bilingual poster for a photography exhibition first shown at Museo Cantonale d’Arte, Lugano (5 December 1987 – 24 January 1988) and subsequently at Kunsthaus Zürich (6 February – 4 April 1988). It was created by Bruno Monguzzi who was the sole designer for Museo Cantonale d’Arte from 1987 to 2004.

All information is set in Bauer Bodoni. The shaded Fat Face used for “FOTO” appears to be custom drawn. Bauer’s Verdi comes close, but is off in several details.
