A space dedicated to the beauty of typography in Vienna, Typo-Passage is open 24/7, with no restrictions and free for all ages.

Located right inside MuseumsQuartier Wien, Typo-Passage #17 features a series of posters with an insightful text fragment by political scientist Oliver Marchart. The series of five dissects the text into all its associated components, illuminating them one by one. At the same time, the zoom in the sequence moves closer and closer to the chosen typeface, making it an equally important part of the exhibition. In addition, a condensed format of the exhibition is available for purchase on site as an A2 folding poster.

In this application all three styles of the Bull-5 family are united (Mono, Typewriter, Regular). The unusual typeface family was refined shortly thereafter and has been published by Tightype in April 2022.

  1. Any idea what the display type is on the “typo-passage” sign in image 4?
