Bordeaux Open Air
Bordeaux Open Air is an electronic music festival that takes place on several dates during the summer, in the parks of the city of Bordeaux in France.
With the artist Steph 3310, who proposed the patterns in the background, we redesigned the visual identity of the festival for 2022. Historically, the festival has existed since 2016 with a visual identity composed in Futura. We therefore used Klarheit Kurrent from Extraset to maintain a geometric line while modernizing everything with a hyper contemporary typeface. The peculiarities of this typeface with its angular inktraps allowed us to bring the electronic side specific to the festival, to give rhythm and dynamism, while contrasting strongly with the more manual background motifs.
The posters exists in three color variants, each screen printed in three colors.
