Grauzone is a Swiss music group founded in 1980 by Martin Eicher, Marco Repetto and G.T. (Christian Trüssel).
“Eisbær” is Grauzone’s second single, released in 1981 on Off Course Records in Switzerland and by Welt-Rekord in Germany. “Eisbær” isthe band’s most famous track.
The cover is quite minimal with a big blue flat, featuring a drawing of a polar bear on an ice floe – Eisbär meaning polar bear. At the top we find the name of the group and the title track in white Helvetica, in capital letters.
The back cover has a drawing in connection with the B-side;“Ich lieb sie” (“I love her”), illustrated with a white heart shown in the same place as the polar bear.
