Dora Alma + Edna Brown is a social enterprise with a key mission to transform the homes and lives of young women and families in need in the UK. Founded by Sacha Naylor and Rebecca May Marston, and backed by a team of incredible volunteers, they work with families experiencing hardship to declutter, clean, rearrange and organise their homes. They renew home layouts to accurately reflect the needs of the family, allowing for transformative change with long-term impact. Each home is treated with sensitivity and respect, creating a judgement-free environment of support, fun and catharsis.
Sacha and Rebecca commissioned TC&F to create an upbeat and positive brand identity that not only encompasses the large scope of their services, but also incentivises individuals and corporations to make financial donations. Utilising jigsaw-like, deconstructed letterforms, the identity suggests order from chaos, reflecting the profound impact their work has on those they help.
Because Orientation is a stencil font, it makes the (de)construction possible.
