Worldchanging reports about new, positive developments in science, engineering, architecture, business and politics that will change this world. Through the die-cut holes of the slipcase the recycled paper on the book cover yellows over time, allowing the sun to imprint and change the book cover itself. This book was designed to appeal not just to a core, green audience, but to a wide spectrum of the general public.
The Cholla typeface family was designed in 1998–99 by Sibylle Hagmann and named after a species of cactus indigenous to the Mojave Desert. The coverm spine and slipcase of Worldchanging uses Cholla Sans in all caps. Text in the interior is set in Cholla Slab.
