This 24k gold printed bottle of “Helvetica The Perfume” contains 2 oz. of distilled water. Nothing more. It is “The Scent of Nothing”. I suppose it could also be marketed as “The Scent of Everything”.
I discovered this today via a tweet by Erik Spiekermann, whose memorable description of the typeface in the film Helvetica could have inspired the product (or at least its other tagline: “Air. Water. You.”)…
It is ubiquitous. It is a default. It’s air. It’s just air. There’s no choice. You have to breathe, so you have to use Helvetica.
