This may be Monotype’s digitization of the original Eagle Bold; the A is sharper and the Z is shorter.

Here’s a visual comparison of Monotype’s version of Eagle Bold (all caps, one weight, like ATF’s original) and the Bold weight of Font Bureau’s Eagle (with added lowercase, four weights). In addition to what you mentioned, there are also differences in regard to the counters and the diacritics.
