Description from the website of publishing house Sans Soleil (translated from French):
Sans Soleil is a Swiss-French (Marseille-Paris-Geneva) publishing house founded in 2021 with the ambition of publishing texts of critical theory, fiction and poetry, as well as others more globally linked to the history and current events of visual cultures.
Sans Soleil is the result of a collaboration between two graphic designers, Léa Gallon and Elea Rochat, who have themselves been directly in charge of the design of the books published to date.
Atlantique Miami is used for typesetting Soleil’s book interiors. It offers excellent legibility in text size. Some of its design features (cut terminals, sophisticated calligraphic solutions) also ensure a lively appearance when used in larger sizes. Most book covers are set in the wide version of Zetkin.
