From designer Léonie Lefere:

The Recherche en perspective project is a collaboration between graphic design students at ENSAV La Cambre, scientific researchers and experts in various disciplines initiated by Ohme. The aim is to co-create original communication media to make research subjects more accessible.

Comment les sciences évoluent-elles ? / How does science evolve? highlights a number of concepts relating to the approaches used by scientists, through Charles Darwin’s discoveries about the evolution of species. This publication is based on a project by Félix Devaux, Chemistry PhD at Université libre de Bruxelles. The text is based on archive documents from the 19th century, supplemented by historical context, and enriched by illustrated definitions and diagrams.

Two-colour ComColor printing, omega staple binding, 16 pages.

The typography pairs Sophie Wietlisbach’s Review Mono (2022) with Christian Gruber’s Archive Grotesk (2023).
