PAGE is the biggest graphic design magazine in Germany as well as other German-speaking countries. It was relaunched in June 2014, with a complete redesign using Typejockey’s Ingeborgvery prominently for headlines, quotes and italics, as well as FF Quadraat for text and FF Mark for sublines.
Designer Rebecca von Hoff shares some of the considerations that went into the typeface choices on the PAGE website (in German).
Quite interesting seeing Ingeborg’s Italic even plugged into running text set in FF Quadraat — instad of Quadraat’s italic — working quite well.
Although both faces are based on different models of construction.
