Friedrich Poppl

German calligrapher, type designer, painter, 1923–1982. Studied from 1950 to 1953 under Karlgeorg Hoefer, Hans Bohn, Erich Fornoff, and Herbert Post at Werkkunstschule Offenbach. Taught from 1955 to 1982 at Werkkunstschule Wiesbaden. In 1967, Poppl started to work with Berthold.
