Reklame-Kursiv was first shown in early 1895 [Archiv für Buchdruckerkunst, Feb 1895] and was also sold as Patent Reklame (Flinsch), Graphic (Stephenson Blake, 1896; Pavers & Bullens), lmpero (Società Augusta, before 1914), and Script Black (Shah Kikhabhoi, before 1916). [Reichardt 2011] Shown by Caslon in wood as Graphic. [c.1900 specimen] There was an open variant, Patent Reklame licht. The upright version of this design is Reklame.
Not to be confused with Kalligraphia, sometimes called Reklame-Kursiv.
