AKA Bauersche Gießerei. Est. in 1837 by Johann Christian Bauer in Frankfurt/Main. Known as Bauersche Gießerei (Germany), Bauer Type Foundry, or Bauer Alphabets Inc. (US). Not to be confused with Bauer & Co in Stuttgart.
