An alphabet by Walter Haettenschweiler shown in Lettera 3, 1967 (Aa–Zz, without ‘j’). The compact design with horizontal contrast appears to draw inspiration from 19th-century wood type, see Gothic Bold.
Phototype adaptations shown by Typeshop as Strada [ca. late 1970s catalog] and Solotype as Bacardi Condensed. [1992 catalog] Vancouver Bold (Typeshop, ca. 1973) appears to be a derivative. Benguiat Priscillas (Photo-Lettering, before 1971) is similar.
Lucas Liccini made a private digitization in 2020 as part of his Revivals & Renditions student project at UdK Berlin. Provided inspiration for BN Raybeam (Brandon Nickerson, 2022).
