Walter Haettenschweiler

Swiss logo, lettering, and type designer — though perhaps more accurately described as an “alphabet designer” because his type was generally produced only as brief alphabet showings in the Lettera book series he edited with Armin Haab.

Born 1933 in Zug, CH, where he lived most of his life. Died Oct 2014. In the Lettera series, his name often appears in a stylized spelling as Hættenschweiler.
