Designed by Georg Trump and issued by C.E. Weber as Trump-Mediäval. The foundry version spans 6 styles; regular (1954), kursiv and halbfett (1956), fett (1958), kursiv fett and schmalhalbfett (1962). The regular has small caps. Trump-Gravur (1960) is a related set of open caps.

Of the digital versions, only Scangraphic’s Mediaeval SB has the schmalhalbfett (bold condensed) style, which is similar to Vendôme étroit. Only Kuenstler 480 (Bitstream, Tilde, ParaType) has the Black. Both Linotype’s digital Trump Mediaeval (also sold by Adobe) and ParaType’s Kuenstler 480 offer small caps for the Regular and Cyrillic characters. ParaType additionally has swash alternates for the Italic.
