Syntax

AKA Syntax-Antiqua. This prototypical humanist sans serif is based on Sabon [Quay]. Started as early as 1954 and first cast by Stempel in 1968 as their last metal typeface. The foundry version spans 4 weights plus one italic cut. Also available for the Linotype. Digitized in 1989. [Linotype] See Syntax Next for an expanded version.
