Centaur

Based on Nicholas Jenson’s 15th-century roman. Drawn by Bruce Rogers and cut by Robert Wiebking for the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) in 1914. Lanston Monotype of London released the commercial version (Series 252) in 1929. The italic, designed by Frederic Warde, was named Arrighi. [Linotype]
