Designed by Goudy in 1911 for a book published by Mitchell
Kennerley. An italic followed in 1915. Reproduction rights sold to
Lanston Monotype in 1920 (series 268/2681). In 1924, Goudy added
bold and bold italic styles at the request of Monotype (series
269/2691). The lowercase of the bold was later used with
Hadriano caps. Sol Hess provided Kennerley Open
Capitals for Lanston in 1925. Adapted by Intertype in 1923,
later changing the name to Kenntonian [McGrew].
Kennerley was cut by Robert Wiebking. There may also
have been a bold condensed. Also cast by Sunity as Bani
Series [Reichardt].
