A Baskerville revival which seeks to come closer to the spirit of the metal originals. Started in 1999 with an interpretation of Baskerville’s 14-point roman and italic from the early 1760s. Also known as J Baskerville (?). Baskerville Ten (based on a 10-point size) followed in 2008. A family with two optical sizes, 10 and 120, each with three weights and italics, was released in 2010 as Baskerville Original. Superseded in March 2023 by Baskerville Neo, now in four optical sizes (Display, Subhead, Text, Small), each in five weights plus italics, with support for Latin (incl. Vietnamese), Greek, and Cyrillic.
