This old Art Nouveau boutique from 1905 is on 43 avenue du Général de Gaulle in Nevers, Burgundy. Architect: Georges-Théodore Renaud. Ceramics by Alexandre Bigot.

The typeface is hardly authentic. Although the period is right — Arnold Böcklin was first released in 1904 — it is out of the question that the lettering for a shop front would have been modeled directly after a printing typeface at that time. Arnold Böcklin nowadays is easily the most ubiquitous Art Nouveau typeface, and should better be avoided for that reason alone.
