The opening credits of Transparent are created by filmmaker and artist Rhys Ernst, who is also a producer of this Amazon web series. Reflecting the main narrative of the latter, the title sequences investigate transgender identity. “Like a 45 second art film” they are assembled from original footage iterating each season’s themes. The title of the series is written out in Solomon Black, the production details listed in ITC Bookman Italic with enlarged swash caps.
